Description:
Evergreen climber with attractive small heart-shaped, bronze juvenile leaves that mature green.
Flower:
Doesn’t flower but once established tiny fruit will develop.
Size:
Slow growing to 4m x 4m.
Growing Conditions:
Ficus pumila is not a fussy grower but a full sun to part shaded spot is ideal with rich moist well drained soil. Frost tolerant.
Care:
Generally a very easy care plant but an occasional light trim and removal of woody branches encourage the retention of the juvenile leaf for many years.
Uses:
This creeper attaches itself to almost any surface making an excellent cover for low walls and foundations.
Comments:
A reliable climber that is tolerant to just about any garden situation.
