Description:
This low growing groundcover forms a mat of lush green-bronze foliage. This colour intensifies in full sun, turning a nice chocolate bronze.
Flower:
Blue flowers spikes in spring/ summer.
Size:
10cm high by indefinite spread.
Growing Conditions:
Prefers a moist soil and a semi-shady spot, but will grow just about anywhere.
Care:
An easy care groundcover that requires little attention, snails and slugs can damage foliage. Ajuga spreads by runners so just cut these back to maintain size.
Uses:
- Perfect groundcover for under trees or a shady corner.
- Suitable for containers, just keep moist.
