Description:
A spreading perennial with mossy like rosettes of foliage.
Flower:
Small flower spikes hold pink flowers with a yellow centre. New flowers repeatedly appear as the old flowers fade down to white, giving a multi-toned appearance.
Size:
10cm x 50cm spread.
Growing Conditions:
They like a fertile and well draining soil. Can be planted in full sun or part shade, but watch that they don’t dry out and they can get leaf scorch or die back.
Care:
Very little is needed. Ensure they don’t dry out and trim back to tidy up.
Uses:
· A perfect rockery plant.
· A useful groundcover for the front of a garden bed.
· A nice container plant.
Comment:
This is a delightful little plant that is well worth having. A neat form and fantastic flower.
