Description:
An unusual and attractive succulent noted for the tight rosettes of almost black fleshy leaves.

Growing Conditions:
For best colour plant in full sun, and plant in a well draining (sandy or rocky) soil.
Care:
They generally require little care but are frost tender so take precaution during the colder months. They make a neat container plant for this reason as you can move them around.
Aeonium eventually go woody but you can cut back these stems to almost ground level to encourage new shoots to develop and keep them tidy and compact.
Uses:
· A useful container plant for patio or deck.
· A neat feature plant where the colour and form can stand out in the garden.
Comment:
This is one of those interesting plants that is at home in a modern funky garden or in an old fashioned cottage planting. It has an attractive form and great colour.
