Common Name:
Reinga Reinga Lily, NZ Rock Lily.
Description:
A clump forming NZ native lily with wide bluish-green foliage that gives it year round appeal.
Flowering:
Long spikes of small white flowers appear en mass through summer.
Size:
75cm x 75cm.
Growth Conditions:
Best in light to full shade but can tolerate periods of full sun. Naturally occurs in dry and rocky areas but is happy if planted in well worked soil. Although considered frost tender they can handle occasional light frosts.
Care:
Little care required. Trim spent flower blooms to encourage new blooms. Watch for slugs and snails particularly if planted in moist conditions.
