Berberis thunbergii 'Little Favourite'

Description:

 

A miniature form which is compact and rounded.  The purple-red foliage turns brilliant red in autumn.

 

Size:

 

 

40cm x 50cm

 

Growing Conditions:

 

Generally easy to grow, they prefer moderately moist, sandy loam soil, but may also do well in other conditions.  For better foliage colour plant in full sun.  

 

Care:

 

Minimal care is required apart from an annual prune to maintain size and shape.  

 

Uses:

  • Ideal to add colour contrast to rock gardens.
  • Anywhere in the garden where a smaller plant and a touch of colour is needed.
  • Looks good in a blue pot, but don't forget to water.
