Acer - Maples

Acer japonicum
Leaves are light yellowish-green to rusty-green in shaded parts of the plant. Exposed leaves are a wonderfull burnt orange giving a two toned effect. 5m.
 
Acer palmatum (Japanese Maple)
Palmatum means 'like a hand with outspread fingers'. This is in reference to the maples leaves. A round headed tree with slender branches. The summer foliage is soft green but during autumn it turns to wonderful shades of yellow, orange then bright red. A good choice for a sheltered spot. 5m x 4m.
